Visit from Ella Deloria digitization project leaders

On January 13th, Standing Rock and Sitting Bull College Library will have a visit from Dr. Timothy Powell and Alex Schein. Tim is the director of EPIC (Educational Partnerships with Indigenous Communities) at the University of Pennsylvania. This will be an initial meet and greet to begin moving forward with further digitization and "digital repatriation" of important language and cultural materials contained in Ella Deloria's papers stored at the American Philosophical Society in Philadelphia. An agenda will be out very soon and Tim and Alex are excited about meeting people on Standing Rock. Stay tuned for more detailed information.
